Chad co-founded Insure.VC and has operated as our CEO since the launch in 2015.  In addition to his role at Insure.VC, Chad is currently CEO & Co-Founder of Bunker, the first contract-related insurance marketplace.  Chad has over 15 years of insurance experience in a variety of leadership and underwriting roles: SVP @ AXIS Capital, VP-Commercial Products @ CUNA Mutual Group, and VP @ Travelers.  He's happiest when driving innovation in established industries that are in need of change.

Shad has been a Managing Partner at Insure.VC since its launch in 2015.  Shad has over 15 years of insurance industry experience in a variety of leadership roles spanning underwriting, product, actuarial, claims, IT and marketing.  Early in Shad's career he was also part of a technology startup in NYC where he learned first-hand the challenges faced in getting a new business off the ground.  Shad is based in Buffalo, NY and spends his free time on the board of a local non-profit and raising two wonderful kids with his wife Serena.  Shad loves leveraging the power of technology and innovation to drive superior business results.

Steven has been a Managing Partner from the inception of Insure.VC in 2015. In addition to Insure.VC, Steven is also CTO & Co-Founder of Bunker, the first contract-related insurance marketplace.  Steven formerly served as the Group CIO & Senior VP of Operations for The Schinnerer Group, a Marsh McLennan company and one of the largest US-based MGA's. Steve brings more than 20 years of technology and business leadership experience spanning multiple industry verticals, including the past 7 years in the insurance market. Steven is not new to start-ups and venture capital opportunities, having launched Optika Technologies, served on the Mergers & Acquisitions Board of Advisors for Minuteman Ventures, and co-founded 20twenty Strategic Consulting. He earned a Master of Business & Leadership degree from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

Matt is a founder, seed stage investor and financial services professional, with experience across a range of industries including the capital markets, financial technology, enterprise software, consumer products and digital media.

Matt is currently Head of Strategy and Finance at Chime, a consumer banking startup based in San Francisco. Previously, Matt was Vice President in BlackRock’s Financial Markets Advisory practice in New York, where he advised large financial institutions on their capital markets exposures during the financial crisis, and also helped grow the company’s financial technology and risk analytics business for institutional insurance investors. Matt is the co-founder of DigiPuppets, an EdTech company that launched an award-winning line of preschool products. Matt earned his MBA with Honors from the Wharton School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University in International Relations.

Gregory has been a Partner at Insure.VC since its launch in 2015. In addition, he’s currently CEO & Co-Founder of Denim Labs, an insurtech startup. Gregory has over 20 years of insurance experience in leadership and marketing roles: SVP & Chief Marketing Officer @ Athene USA; VP, Marketing @ Pacific Life Insurance Company and Director, Product Management @ CUNA Mutual Group. Gregory is based in Des Moines, where he’s a mentor and advisor to startups in the Global Insurance Accelerator.
